It is astounding that some people in the West, who consider themselves to be conservative, have publicly supported Russian President Vladimir Putin, seeing him as the defender of Christian Civilisation. I cannot imagine a greater delusion. Putin, far from being the defender of Christian values and the Christian religion, is a psychotic monster who controls a vast mechanism of lies and political manipulation.
