I had a Tintin period between 1966 and 1976. In 1966, I started a French course at the Alliance Française in Sydney and thought the Belgian series would help. I was right. My first title was L’Affaire Tournesol, which I enjoyed immensely. I went on to buy 18 titles, all of which I have read several times.
