Photos of these childless women showed twenty-something white girls with naughty, rebellious smiles as if they were leading a long overdue social correction in their collapsing European society. Don’t they realise what they’re doing?

No, they don’t and couldn’t care less if they did know. The naughtiness and rebelliousness of their action are central to their self-esteem.
