A dark age of literature?

That’s the question that Joomi Kim asks in this excellent presentation of the modern novel. For years, I have only had to get a whiff of wokism in books, movies and television, and off they go. I haven’t bothered to delve into novels, for example, to justify my action. I was confident I didn’t have to. In this presentation, Joomi Kim does just that. She discusses a range of book titles, many of which are high on book award lists, showing that they are all in the same unexamined woke bubble. At the end of this video, I was inclined to answer yes to her question.

Grace Tame – her friends should intervene

Grace Tame is back in the news. She has dismissed the thoroughly documented rape of women – rape as a weapon of war – during the Islamic attack on Israel on 7 October 2023 as propaganda. One could hardly utter a more sickening claim.

There is now enough evidence to support the proposition that Tame has deep psychological problems. Whether it is autism, as suggested in one report, or some other affliction, it is clear that Tame is out of touch with her social environment and has problems rationally processing the social and political issues she dabbles in.

Of course, the usual gang in the media rush to her support. But that support is politically motivated. It would be far better – and merciful – for her real friends to take her aside and counsel her and, if necessary, seek psychological support.

Social constructivism is manifestly garbage

It’s just on a year since the sensational psychological crime drama ADOLESENCE appeared on television. Feminists were thrilled with it. Men generally were appalled. It’s informative to revisit Echo Chamberlain’s YouTube analysis.

‘Social constructivists believe that gender is socially constructed. There are no real distinct male proclivities. Therefore, all characteristics of gender difference are really just boys abiding by a societal script they feel they have to perform and which inhibits them from becoming their real, authentically sensitive selves.

‘The thing is, social constructivism is garbage, one of the most toxic ideologies of our time and its disoriented conceptions of gender are almost entirely on the male side.

‘It’s been shown scholastically to be garbage because the Scandinavian countries pushed social constructivist ideas to their fullest extent, and what happened was that the difference between the genders was actually maximised, the exact opposite of what the social constructivists envisaged and wanted.’

Man-hatred deeply embedded in the judicial system

I remark again that most men have little idea of the feminist hatred they’ll meet if ever they end up before the bench. Women, or more accurately, feminists, have possession of our legal system. That will get worse because universities are churning out more female lawyers than male lawyers. Why should that matter, the average man will ask? The law is the law.

The explanation is provided by the crucial distinction Janice Fiamengo and Helen Andrews make between female and male judgment: males judge on the basis of raw logic and truth: females judge on the basis of empathy. Helen Andrews puts it this way: females ‘value empathy over rationality; safety over risk; conformity and cohesion over competition and hierarchy.’

In her article, A Grim Verdict on Scottish Justice, Bettina Arndt gives a graphic account of the ordeal a male will likely endure if ever brought before the courts by an accusing female. All the sympathy is for the female; none whatever for the male. It is not a question of fact and rationality, but of feeling and female solidarity.

The video below shows how pervasive female influence and control are across the arts world – through publishing, television, media, advertising, etc. If you’re a male (like me) writing stories and characters that men are traditionally interested in, you can forget about being published by a traditional publisher – no matter how excellent your writing is. If you’re a male who finds the latest offerings in bookshops, television and cinema feminist and boring, you’ll find the the explanation here. This video is worth rewatching for its explanatory value.

It’s the same in Australia as in Britain. The voting figures in the video below show that the majority of women and migrants from poor countries vote left. Men who vote Labor, Greens, and TEAL are voting against themselves. They are voting for parties and policies that heavily discriminate against them and the nation their ancestors built.
